What kind of car might they drive or do they take public transport (car/bus/train/trolley/horse)? What music do they listen to (jazz/folk/classical)? What food might they eat (menu/diet)? How do they wear their hair (hairstyle/hairdo)? What were the historical events contemporary to the time? How was the economy? How big were families? What religious affiliations might they have? What were the social constructs (marriage/education/race/class/gender/sexuality)? What were the biases, beliefs, and assumptions being made at that time?
