FOGELSON LIBRARY PROMOTES STUDENTS’ ACADEMIC SUCCESS BY PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL RESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT, AND INNOVATIVE SERVICES. FOGELSON LIBRARY SUPPORTS THE UNIVERSITY'S OBJECTIVE TO COMBINE CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT WITH ACADEMIC RIGOR.
Our collection includes: print materials (books, journals, magazines), musical scores, LPs, CDs, DVDs, and VHS. We also have a beautiful Special Collection of non-circulating material for view in the Library.
Most Fogelson Library material circulates and can be borrowed by students, faculty, and staff. Borrowing privileges may be obtained at the circulation desk. Students, faculty, and staff may also reserve study rooms, the South West Room, and the Miniver Viewing Room. Projectors are also available to check out for the Santa Fe University community. In addition to our Santa Fe University borrowing privileges, there are also Institutional and Community borrowing policies that allow members of the Art Institute, other academic and arts organizations, alumni, and Santa Fe residents to borrow circulating Fogelson Library materials. These borrowing policies are limited to books and audio visual material.
Faculty members often place course related material on reserve for their classes. Reserve materials are located at the circulation desk and may be checked out by students and faculty for a limited time, generally about two hours. Faculty also place digitized course material on E-Reserve which is accessible through the library website.
